Captial E Festivial of The Arts

On 14/3/19 the year 7 & 8’s from Otaki College went to Captial E Festival of the Arts  in Wellington. We had to be at school by 7:30 am which was very hard for me, We left school at 7:45, our bus was SWL and half of EER. We were the first bbus to leave I sat next to Jorja and behind us was Neriah and Montana, we took photos and tiktoks on my phone. Then we facetimed the others on the other buses. After we made a song up (best song ever).

Once we arrived we had to wait for the rest of EER, once they arrived we went into Wesley Hall for the story Studio Live/Sound Effects Performance which was really funny. The people presenting names were Bree green, Smitty and Junior, they made a beatboxing tape that Jayaiah took into a song in 10 minutes, It was very impressive. They were telling storys while acting and making sounds to them. They told us two stories one of them was called, The vampire.

We walked to the Opera house next which is where we saw the other half of the year 7&8’s. We went in and sat down and watched Wolfgang’s Magical Musical Circus which was very scary because they were doing very risky tricks. They did a bit of jazz, ballet and pointe ballet. I couldn’t really see because Mr E was sitting was sitting in front of me. There was a lady, a man and a guy playing the Chordian.

After that we went to Gabez while walking there we passed my mums work and we could see her from the window. We met a lovely girl that was helping kids cross the road (we owe her a butter chicken wrap). Once we arrived at Gabez, we sat down and watched the Dancing Japanese Duo (Masa, Hotishi) some of the boys fell asleep during the performance. It was ineteresting because they were acting without speaking, the acts were Washing The Window, Kung Fu, Mr Wolfand just dancing. At the end og the performance they started playing Just The Way You Are by Bruno Mars and we started singing along to it.

After that we got on the bus and headed back to school, we arrived at 3:30 pm and went home.
