Careers Expo

Today we went to the careers expo in the hall. We went around the expo and met a lot of cool people and things about available jobs for my future! One of the most interesting one was Work Ready Kapiti, the man told us all about things you need to know for certain jobs. 3 examples are
1. You have to be drug-free
2. It'd be helpful if you had your drivers licence
3. There is a big Health & Safety procedure you have to follow
Another thing which was cool was seeing Lincoln who was our buddy while we were doing the rockets! Lincoln is a civil engineer and works for Fletchers. Fletchers also had a digger out which you could ride! 2 other engineers you can be is a mechanical and a electrical. Something else which was cool was IPU, IPU is a Tertiary Institute it is partners with Soshi Educational Group which is one of Japan's most largest and established conglomerates ! They have  more than 120 institutes and 35,000 sstudents studying in pre-school, elementary, secondary and tertiary education! Overall it was a really good day and I really enjoyed it!
